Use the information you already have to make a clearer decision. Check the source listing, the provider quote and the rules that apply to your destination.

Before you pay

• Write down the source item, colour, size and quantity.
• Check the seller’s measurement chart and compare it with a garment that fits you.
• Ask the provider for a current quote when the parcel dimensions or weight are known.
• Keep the original product page and the provider order reference together.

Allow for UK charges

GOV.UK says VAT, duty and delivery charges may be collected by the carrier for goods sent from abroad. The amount depends on the goods, their value, the destination and the applicable rules. Rules differ between Great Britain and Northern Ireland, so read the current guidance for your destination before ordering rather than relying on a fixed promise.

When your parcel arrives

Check the delivered items against your order and keep packaging and carrier paperwork until you are satisfied. Contact the provider through its current support route if there is a problem.
